Drought Conditions

Good Afternoon Glorious Town of Absarokee!

We need to conserve water this year due to severe drought conditions. So help us reduce the stress on the town water system by using those personal irrigation wells if you can.

We are not to the point of rationing water yet but we need to be mindful.

I have already informed the Nemont / Finley crews installing fiber optics in the town to prepare to start pulling water from the Rosebud instead of the town system.

The Water Office does not control the ditches running through the town but I will help get you in touch with the people that do.
